The Public Relations Society of America – Greater Salt Lake Chapter (PRSA Salt Lake), officially chartered in 1952 as PRSA Intermountain Chapter (Source), is comprised of public relations professionals, representing many of Salt Lake Valley’s corporations, public relations agencies, nonprofit organizations, educational and health institutions, and independent practitioners. We also support student chapters (PRSSA) at local universities.
Our Chapter offers numerous professional development and networking opportunities, including:
- Networking Luncheons featuring key thought leaders in PR;
- Teleseminars/webinars keeping you up-to-date on need-to-know tactics and trends;
- Casual Friday Lunches introducing you to other professionals in our area;
- And, the annual Spring Conference, a half-day conference focused on professional development, best practices, and networking.
We also recognize area practitioners at the annual Golden Spike Awards ceremony, an event honoring extraordinary individuals for their outstanding contributions to the public relations profession and to their specific industry.
Finally, we provide resources, including preparatory classes to earn your Accreditation in Public Relations (APR), a membership directory, and job listings.
